Received a used and incorrect Anker charger from Amazon
Hey guys, I bought an Anker smart charger (the foldable one with the cooling feature), but when I opened the box it wasn’t the correct item. The charger inside wasn’t foldable, was scratched, and even had a small heart mark on it.
This is my first time ever doing a return with Amazon so I was a bit unsure about the process. I went ahead and initiated a return and dropped it off at Staples so it could be shipped back. Amazon already says they’re sending me a replacement tomorrow.
I just wanted to ask if I should be worried about them thinking I swapped the item or something. The box itself had the right instruction sheet for the product I ordered, but the actual charger inside wasn’t right.
Also I am a little worried about being charged later after the replacement comes. I do not want to end up in a situation where everything seems fine now but then I get hit with a charge weeks later saying they did not get the return or something. Is that something that actually happens or am I overthinking it?
Edit: And I guess I should clarify. I thought I made it pretty clear, but when I say “one of the best in fiction,” I’m talking about it for me personally. I thought I made it clear that I was just sharing my thoughts on this scene and why I think it’s one of the better ones in fiction. I know a lot of people might think it’s simple or disagree with it, but it’s just me sharing my personal thoughts on it. I thought I made that clear, but this is just an edit so people understand. I’m not saying this has to be your guys’ personal best in fiction. I’m just saying that for me, it is.
I still think one of my favorite moments in the show is Aang giving up cosmic energy for Katara. To me, it’s not only one of the best-written moments in the series, but it also completely solidified why I shipped Aang and Katara and why I always knew they were going to end up together.
One of the biggest ideas behind being the Avatar is that you’re supposed to be the bridge between worlds. You’re supposed to remain balanced, not play favorites, and put your personal attachments aside when necessary. The Avatar State itself is this massive spiritual power tied directly to that responsibility and to all the past Avatars before him.
So the fact that Aang straight up says he would rather give up cosmic energy and potentially lose access to the Avatar State than let go of Katara is honestly one of the most romantic things in the entire show to me. Especially because it fits perfectly with Aang’s character. Aang was never someone motivated by power. He was motivated by love, connection, and humanity. And I think people are too harsh when they say the romance in Avatar is weak. Personally, I think the romance is realistic. These are kids. Aang is literally 12 years old and barely understands romance at all. He was raised by Air Nomads and had his childhood ripped away from him the moment he found out he was the Avatar. He lost Gyatso, lost his entire people, and had the weight of the world forced onto him.
Katara understands emotions and relationships more than Aang does, but even she’s still just a kid trying to figure things out. Their relationship feels awkward, gradual, emotional, and slow because that’s realistically how young people experience love for the first time. That’s why I think the romance works so well. It’s a slow burn that develops naturally across the entire series instead of feeling forced. You watch Aang slowly grow from having a silly crush into genuinely understanding sacrifice, devotion, and love. And honestly, the fact that Aang, at only 12 years old, delivers one of the most powerful romantic ideas in the series by basically saying, “I would give up cosmic power if it meant I could still have the person I love,” is incredible to me. That moment completely solidified why I felt like they were always meant to be.
This is my first time really watching The Legend of Korra since I was a kid, and honestly I’m kind of frustrated that nostalgia and other people’s opinions stopped me from appreciating it earlier. The show definitely has flaws, but it’s actually really good. Season 1 is honestly up there with some of the best seasons of Avatar: The Last Airbender for me.
I’m at the Season 3 finale right now, and overall it’s been great. One thing that stands out is the villains. I think Korra has better villains overall. Amon and the Red Lotus are amazing. Unalaq in Season 2 is probably the weakest so far, and I do have a personal dislike because of what he did to the Avatar cycle, but he’s not bad. I also like how each villain actually pushes Korra and helps build her character. Season 2 also did a really good job developing Korra’s parents and the Water Tribe conflict.
Korra and Aang are really interesting to compare because they’re similar but also very different. Aang is way more spiritual and relies on past Avatars, while Korra is much stronger physically. If we’re just talking bending, I think Korra takes three out of four elements, with Aang clearly being the better airbender. Korra has insane firebending, elite water and earth, and even metalbending. To be fair, I’m comparing them based on how they are in their own shows, meaning 12 year old Aang vs 16 to 17 year old Korra, not their adult versions.
I also don’t get the criticism that Korra’s Team Avatar has no personality. Mako, Bolin, and Asami are all solid characters. The bigger thing people overlook is that Aang’s team had way more time to develop, while Korra’s story is much more focused on her specifically. That’s not a bad thing, it just means the team naturally gets less focus. And on top of that, Aang’s team is stacked with prodigies so it’s just a tough comparison in general.
My biggest issue with Korra is the romance. That’s easily the weakest part of the show. I liked Mako and Asami early on, but the love triangle stuff got messy. Mako and Korra always felt more like a fling than something serious, and I didn’t like how both of them hurt Asami. Even if it’s realistic since they’re teenagers, it was still frustrating to watch.
As for Korra and Asami, I don’t think it came out of nowhere, but I’m not fully sold on it either. In Season 3 you can tell the writers start pushing them closer, but it happens pretty fast. Right now, what I mostly get from them is more of a really close friend or almost sister type of vibe rather than something romantic.
At the same time, it’s obvious Nickelodeon held them back. It’s kind of wild the show can include really brutal moments but not fully explore a same sex relationship. Like with Lin and Suyin taking down the combustion bender, even though it’s off screen, it’s still one of the most brutal implied deaths in the series. So it’s weird where the line was drawn.
Overall I think Korra is way better than people give it credit for. A lot of the hate just feels like people wanted her to be Aang, when the whole point is that she’s different. It’s her story, not Aang Part 2.
For me, the romance is still the weakest part, and right now I see Korra and Asami more as really close friends with a sister type dynamic than a couple. Maybe that changes in Season 4, but at this point I’m just not fully convinced.

I ordered the new Ben 10 comic from Dynamite Comics back in March, and it still says “waiting for inventory.” This is my first time buying from them, so I’m not sure if that’s normal. What’s confusing is that I just got an email from Dynamic Forces saying they shipped a package and that I should expect it in 2–6 days. The email came from customerservice@dynamicforces.com. Are Dynamite and Dynamic Forces connected? And is it normal for an order to be stuck on “waiting for inventory” this long but still get a shipping email?
With the new celebration going on, I saw that new Nappa equip and… what the hell, PUR Nappa is insane now.
I really like how Legends can take older units and make them relevant again just through equipment, without needing to Zenkai them. It honestly keeps the game fresh and makes it way more fun when you can pull out a character like Nappa and he actually feels strong again.
That’s something Legends definitely has over Dokkan in my opinion. The equipment can actually change how a unit performs in a noticeable way. This is not a Dokkan hate comment, by the way. I'm just comparing them because, they both have that in common. Just cool to see units like Nappa get a second life like that.
