I found a really good deal on a pair of Birkenstock London clogs online, and I absolutely love the look, but I’m worried I might not like the closed-back feel compared to the Boston. Unfortunately, I can’t try them on anywhere locally since they’re only available online.

I saw this TikTok where someone cut/modified their Londons to make them more like Bostons:

Has anyone here actually done this before (DIY or through a cobbler)? How did they turn out long-term in terms of comfort, structure, and appearance? Would you recommend it, or is it a bad idea?”
