Very important decision, and I need your help.

I'm planning to get a cat soon, and I've been researching everything.

Budget is okay for me, I'm ready for the responsibility and everything else. Something I'm really stumped on though, is which vet I should be regularly visiting.

I do believe IVH is the best choice, but it's far away. I've tried to look for vets in Kuwait, but when I check the subreddit, I see mixed reactions. Does anybody know a trustworthy vet near Hawally?

What is force majeure, and how it can really affect Kuwait?

As we know, Kuwait announced the extension of force majeure, and this news is far from being good for any of us living in this country. Force majeure means to suspend or terminate the trade clauses due to some circumstances. As of right now, Kuwait has suspended all oil exports and that means 90% of Kuwait's revenue is at a direct threat. Even if the war ends tomorrow, it will take many months for the trade situation to return to normal. Kuwait has sovereign funds, which will smooth this situation, but we must brace ourselves just in case. What are all your thoughts?

hello everyone, i am currently outside Kuwait. My 6 month absence period will be completed in a few days… i heard there may be extensions due to current war situation? … does anyone have recent confirmed information about whether Article 22 residents are currently getting extensions beyond 6 months, or is the rule still strictly enforced?

Ceasefire extended. Thank god for TACO Tuesday..

so the ceasefire's been extended only until iran comes up with a new proposal of conditions, and until negotiations conclude. the US naval blockade remains.

how hopeful should we be?

Quick Survey for Gamers in Kuwait – Help Improve the Gaming Scene

Hey everyone,

I’m running a short anonymous survey for gamers in Kuwait (takes less than 1 minute).

The purpose is to better understand the local gaming community—what people actually play, how they play, and what they would be interested in when it comes to competitive gaming.

The long-term goal is to use this info to help improve the gaming scene in Kuwait and potentially build something more structured in the future, like regular tournaments or even a permanent local league if there’s enough interest from players.

Right now, I don’t want to assume anything—I’d rather hear directly from the community and build something that actually fits what players want here.

If you’re a gamer in Kuwait, I’d really appreciate your input.

Survey link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdV85DrNO1j9B3YLez_CQNmxTalsMqzeigxBQZ9CTnRvJFncg/viewform?usp=publish-editor

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help and please share it with any gamer you know.

Kuwaiti Citizenship Revoked

A relative of mine just had her citizenship revoked.

She's currently living outside of Kuwait, is her passport still valid or will it be seized by immigration while trying to enter Kuwait? We're trying to find official statements from MOI but we had no luck :/

Also, if her mom were to turn in her جنسية (nationality ID) on her behalf, will her passport be terminated automatically?

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys, and if someone would be willing to provide more info via DM that would be amazing, thanks!

Other than Puff, what's a good water bottle?

I've tried the first ever Puff bottle and then the hanger and both were great, but since I got the Grippie because I needed a bigger capacity I noticed oh my god their quality has deteriorated so bad.. 💀

I need to be hydrating more so I need a really really good brand that offers bottles at like 750ml or more and aren't ugly looking, convenient to carry around (maybe has a hanger), and ideally also fit in a car cup holder.

EDIT: I'd also like ones that are available IN Kuwait and I can go see in an actual store
