I know expansions added characters like Lord Cytharat and Theron Shan, as well as "unlocking" same gender romances for some characters, but considering how long and specific the class stories are, I really don't like the fact that not a single one of them includes same gender romance options or even same gender flirt dialogue.

As a gay guy, I really feel like I'm being excluded from an important part of the story, and while I appreciate the expansion romances, they only happen after the class story, which means people like me have to wait a LOT to engage in a romance. The class companions are usually there from the beginning, you get to bond with them, sometimes even to help them with quests, they're the teammates that stick with you the most.

And I'm gonna be honest, it feels really bad to not have access to that, you're supposed to like those characters, and romance gives you a new perspective and intimacy with them, a bit of calm and happiness between the many times in which you're in action and I'm really being denied something so nice because I'm gay. Hell, you can't even mod the game, because it's online.

I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm ranting about this here, it's just... it's something I needed to get out of my chest, I really think they could have updated that aspect of the story.

Seriously, female characters have access to both regular armor and robes on top of having sexy armor, even iconic ones like the Leia slave outfit. Why don't we have that kind of thing for men? I can't even set my guy to be shirtless in the outfitter, let alone a sexy outfit, we're in 2026, for fuck's sake, gender-limited costumes are stupid as hell.

Like, it makes sense, people who buy the pass will get the same rewards instead of a lootbox with random crap that is vaguely related to the pass' theme and once the pass itself isn't available, the skins can remain available in the shop. That way people get rewarded for engaging with the game enough to finish the pass, but if they missed it, they'll have direct access to it. If they need more exclusivity, just add a specific chroma or border to the pass version that will not be obtainable in the shop. Seriously, the Demonic skins are so great, we really don't need that terrible change to the pass.
