What's your CURRENT character like?

To be more explicit, I mean your CURRENT, not necessarily your "main" character

What's their personality, what do they like etc.

This is especially for the rp people if yall wanna connect more/share your char ideas

Imma go first: My agent is essentially the bane of the Force-user community. He sees the sith, jedi, voss, basically EVERYONE who uses the force as beneath him, lazy, undisciplined idiots with delusions of grandeur. He wants to create a society, where those with the force are the slaves/servants, instead of the "masters" He's manipulated even sith as cunning as Jadus to get exactly what he wants, discarding them at the moment they become a burden He views the Empire not as a prooer society, but as a mere tool to reform the galaxy where those with TRUE superiority rule the weaklings, who all eventually are forced to kneel under the will of the Force Oh and he does not hide his distaste of the Force-users from even the most powerful of them

His fav food is bantha-milk pudding<3

I miss the weird beak ships.

Supposedly they were still around by the time of the galactic wars so I wish they appeared at least once

A screenshot from 10 years ago

Dated March 2016. The UI has changed a lot! I remembered back then as an F2P grinding on DK was the way to continue on with the story missions.

How are you getting so many credits

A fella wants to buy a cool laser sword for his space Barbie. But the options are to spend a whole lotta dollars-doos (which my broke ass does not have) or scrounge up 238 million credits.

So the big question is, how can I get these credits without making my wallet cry.

After you make a character in SWTOR, can you somehow see which numbers in the options you selected?

Like, if i chose hairstyle 22 and skin tone 9-is there a way to go back somehow and actually see what number options I chose if I did not write it down or screenshot it? That would be really nice although I don't suspect that it would be possible. I would really like to save a name and a blank character with the same exact custom options on the Jedi faction for testing purposes. Also any Australian guilds on Star Forge? I would really like to know who to search for even if I don't plan on playing with anything directly for some time it would be really nice to have a community. If you can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it, thank you!

Killing off companions

You know how back when companions were role locked, people were mad about the Quinncident because it just had to be the healer who betrays us? What if it were one of the DPS or tank comps who betrays us, like Pierce for example? Would killing one of those guys affect gameplay much?

Yuun in Alliance?

Decided to play my old Trooper character, first time in 6+ years at least, and noticed that Yuun is in a different tab than my other companions. Note this toon is just starting Ilum. Is this a known bug, or something I did?

I’m new and seeking advice on several things!

Hello! I don’t use Reddit a lot so forgive me if I’m doing something wrong.

I just started swtor for the first time and it’s so fun. I like grinding for things like cosmetics, mounts, decor, or even the player homes.

  1. I’ve researched a bit and can’t find a clear answer. The recovered relics drop from two flashpoints supposedly but a lot of old posts say they don’t anymore. I’m close enough to start running these flashpoints but don’t wanna waste time farming them if it’s pointless. I want a specific armor set that requires 18 of them. I can’t afford $112 million credits to buy all of them (they are about $6 million apiece right now). Any tips? I’ve read something about doing an interlude story line for Revan at level 55 over and over again for new characters to get 2 each time. But that’s so tedious if it’s accurate.

  2. now onto credits. My jaw dropped at prices and I’ve looked at a bunch of ways to make credits and all of them just seem so taxing. But that’s just me. With my eyes set on a armor set that will cost me $112 mil credits as well as other mounts around $60 mil and a player homes at like $2 mil plus the cost of furnishing it the way I want. I just struggle with the best way to make good credit progress while not feeling like I’m min maxing. Maybe I’m asking for too much but I don’t know.

Sorry if I’m rambling but I’ve never touched a MMO and this is my first one and I love it so much. Thank you for any tips or advice💜

What’s the best Jedi/sith stories?

I just got back into the game and can’t decide which class to main. I started trooper sniper but debating if I wanna continue it or start a jedi or sith assassin story. I like double bladed lightsabers but I can’t decide to either do Jedi or sith story.

Which stories are y’all’s favorite?

I wanna actually make it to end game this time.

I absolutely love the symbolism in this final moment, making the Sith/The system bow to you after enduring it as a slave for so long. The shots are extremely cool too.

Level too low for proper story progression

I am playing a sith warrior and have been enjoying the story a ton, however recently ive been like 5-9 levels behind where the story is meant to have me and am getting bodied by enemies that should be much easier then they are, which is leading to me not being able to continue the story.

Am I doing something wrong? I figured that just playing the story alone I should be at the right level? I also see people say that doing your class story is the quickest way to level up so im confused on what I should be doing to fix this

I really wish the class story romances and flirt options were available for either gender

I know expansions added characters like Lord Cytharat and Theron Shan, as well as "unlocking" same gender romances for some characters, but considering how long and specific the class stories are, I really don't like the fact that not a single one of them includes same gender romance options or even same gender flirt dialogue.

As a gay guy, I really feel like I'm being excluded from an important part of the story, and while I appreciate the expansion romances, they only happen after the class story, which means people like me have to wait a LOT to engage in a romance. The class companions are usually there from the beginning, you get to bond with them, sometimes even to help them with quests, they're the teammates that stick with you the most.

And I'm gonna be honest, it feels really bad to not have access to that, you're supposed to like those characters, and romance gives you a new perspective and intimacy with them, a bit of calm and happiness between the many times in which you're in action and I'm really being denied something so nice because I'm gay. Hell, you can't even mod the game, because it's online.

I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm ranting about this here, it's just... it's something I needed to get out of my chest, I really think they could have updated that aspect of the story.
