Hi everyone! I’ve been following these threads for a while and realized how much easier it would be if there was a simple app to invite musicians to your band with just one click. So, I teamed up with a group of developers, and we actually built it.

It’s still in beta, and people are starting to join little by little. If we manage to build a real community there, finding musicians would be as easy as sending an invitation with a single click.

What do you guys think?

Since this post might get flagged for self-promotion if I include the link here, I’ll leave the Google Play link in the comments.

Cheers!

I’ve been following this forum for a while and noticed how people are constantly searching for musicians, so I teamed up with some developers to create an app to solve this. It’s currently in open beta (so it might have a few bugs).

Right now, there isn't anyone from NY on there yet, but if people start using it, finding a musician for a jam session would be just a couple of clicks away.

Since my post will probably get taken down if I include a Google Play link, I’ll leave it in the comments.

This app could be a simple solution to a big problem. What do you guys think?

Hi!

We are currently building a web page, a new web directory for bands and venues designed to help people find and book live music for private events and weddings quickly.

We’re launching in a couple of weeks, and we’d love to have your band on board (it’s completely free).

If you're interested, you can send all your info to our email: live-app@hotmail.com (videos, photos, audio... anything you want to share).

We’ll set up your profile for you and notify you via email or Instagram as soon as the site will be working. That way, you can register, take full control of your account, and manage it yourself.

Best regards!

Hi everyone! I’m a professional pianist and singer with 15 years of experience, and I’ve gotten tired of the usual chaos when organizing musicians for gigs.

It’s always the same: endless WhatsApp messages, date changes, someone can’t make it, finding substitutes, reorganizing everything… a constant mess.

Together with a group of developers and fellow musicians, we built an app to simplify all of this:

  • You get a notification with a gig (date, pay, details)
  • You accept or decline
  • If you decline, it automatically goes to a substitute
  • You can also offer the gig to musicians in your area
  • All calendars sync across your different bands
  • Helps schedule rehearsals by finding the best time for everyone

We’re currently in open beta (bugs may still exist). There’s a feedback system, and early users who join and send feedback will get a lifetime premium account.

Important: the app only works when the full band is registered.

Hi everyone! I’m a professional pianist and singer with 15 years of experience, constantly booking gigs with different bands. As musicians, we all end up playing with multiple projects or stepping in as substitutes, and I’ve seen the same chaos for years when it comes to managing musicians.

You close a show, WhatsApp/Telegram messages start flying, someone can’t make it, the venue offers another date, you check again, now the drummer can’t, you start looking for replacements, asking around for contacts… and it never ends. It’s always the same mess.

So I got together with a group of developers and spoke with a lot of musicians I know. We’ve been working on solving all of this in one app.

The idea is simple: you receive a notification saying a gig is booked for date X, with pay X and all the details. You either ACCEPT or DECLINE. If you accept, the gig is yours. If you decline, it automatically moves to a substitute. If needed, you can also offer the gig to musicians in your area.

All musicians’ calendars sync across their different bands, so everything is automatically organized. It also helps coordinate rehearsals by finding the best possible time for everyone.

We’re currently in open beta (there may still be some bugs). We’ve also enabled a feedback inbox, if you join now and send feedback, you’ll receive a lifetime premium account.

The app only works when the full band is registered.

Hey everyone 👋

I’m a professional musician (pianist & singer) with 15+ years of experience, and I’m pretty sure many of you can relate to this:

You get offered a gig → the WhatsApp/Telegram chaos begins
One person can’t → you change the date
Another one can’t → back to square one
You need a sub → digging through random contacts
Rehearsals → same story all over again

After dealing with this for years, I decided to actually build a solution.

Together with a small team of developers, we created an app designed from a real musician’s perspective to make all of this simple and automated:

• Gig management
• Musician availability
• Substitutions
• Rehearsals
• Everything synced in one place (no more endless chats)

One feature I personally love as a session/sub musician:

You just get a notification like:
“Gig on X date – pay is X – details included”
→ Accept or decline

If you decline, it automatically goes to your designated substitute.
If you don’t have one, you can quickly find someone and pass the gig to them. Super simple.

👉 Important: the app really reaches its full potential when the whole band is registered

We just launched the open beta 🚀
There will probably be bugs, so we’d really appreciate real feedback from musicians.

👉 There’s a feedback/suggestions section inside the app
👉 Anyone who sends a suggestion there gets lifetime premium access

That includes things like:

• Higher visibility in searches
• More chances to get called for gigs/subs
• Priority within the platform

If you’re an active musician, I think this could save you a lot of headaches.

Here’s the link to try it: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.live.platform

Would love to hear what you think — drop your thoughts in the comments 🙏
