Hello-I've had 2 xfinity appointments and still do not have internet set up. The last appointment I had was scheduled without my knowing and I couldn't attend because of work commitments. It was supposed to be for advanced technicians setting up a power line as my address has never had this service before. How do I know that's actually who is going to be coming out tomorrow as opposed to another team member who's going to tell me the same exact issue (they need to close the road down, etc). Just want to verify that the person coming is someone who can actually install the power line.

Is this typical for Comcast? We've had 2 separate visits (where I've had to take off work). Two people have come for installation and said they can't do anything because an advanced team needs to come out as a wire would have to be run across the street to run power from the pole to the other side of the street. A week later...same thing and they scheduled an appointment without confirming with me. I've been having to take off work to get this situated and I still don't have internet. Everyone around us has Comcast, I honestly don't understand why this is so difficult to get set up.
