[strike.vault] Trea Turner’s 2023 Turn Around (Reupload)

I saw a video while scrolling on Instagram about Trea Turner's slump in 2023. The Phillies' fans kept booing him at every AB, and he kept being ass. Then, some dude posted a video telling those same fans to encourage him instead. So they kept giving him standing ovations when he came to the plate, and the guy started hitting bombs.

Our offence right now isn't good. Instead of telling our guys to kick rocks or to get DFA'd, maybe we should show some support, especially if we're in attendance. We all know Vladdy is in a funk right now. Let's give him some support at every appearance. Ditto for guys like Clement, Barger, Sosa, and Heineman. Same for our pitchers like Hoffman.

Grad Student Funding Release Date

I saw on the UWO website that payments are issued the second Tuesday of each semester, but none of the new grad students I’ve talked to have received their funding yet, and neither have I. Should I be worried and start emailing people or is this normal?

What was the format of Soviet military callsigns?

In the American army, in the late 20th century, the format for callsigns was something like "*company callsign* platoon number - vehicle number ". For example, a tank might have the callsign "Turbine 2-3", where Turbine is the company callsign, 2 indicates it's with second platoon, and 3 indicates it's the third tank in second platoon. It's a similar format for infantry squads and for aviation as well.

Did Soviet Tank Battalions Have XOs?

I've seen TO&E diagrams for Soviet units in the late 20th century, and while I've seen that the battalion commander would have his own command tank, I haven't seen anything about the executive officer's role and placement. Did Soviet units have XO's, and if so, where would they be located if they weren't given their own command tank?
