I was born and raised in the Catholic Church and went to a private Catholic school as a child. I also used to serve as a Lector. I haven’t really been part of a church for many many years but I’ve recently been seeing a resurgence on TikTok and Instagram about young adult masses in the city and the special on 60 minutes. And I’ve been thinking I might want to tap back in.

I’m interested in attending a mass at St. Joseph’s in Greenwich Village this weekend. Are any of you part of that church? How do you like it? Have you made any new friends? I don’t really want to go alone so would love to join someone if they’re willing to include me and maybe introduce me to some of the other people in their parish.

Working with crochet thread in size 10 was too hard for my eyes to see, so I went back to a fingering weight yarn instead to see if I can build up my confidence to try crochet thread again.

How do you all see crochet thread? I might need a magnifying glass at the ripe age of 31 🤣
