Game Title: Combat Corridor - EDIT: real-money games not available yet! Hoping to release in the next week!

Playable Link: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/combat-corridor/id6760432189

Platform: iOS

Description: Combat Corridor is a one-tap arcade shooter built for iOS with a retro neon aesthetic. Navigate your ship through an endless corridor, dodge incoming enemies, thread through moving gates, and survive escalating waves of fire. The controls are intentionally minimal — one tap to move — but the challenge ramps up fast. No tutorials, no energy meters, no ads interrupting your run. Just pure arcade gameplay that's easy to pick up but hard to put down. I integrated Skillz so players can enter skill-based tournaments and compete head to head for prizes — completely optional on top of the free core game. I built this because I wanted a mobile arcade game that felt like the cabinet games of the 80s and 90s but played naturally on a touchscreen. Would love honest feedback on difficulty, controls, and overall feel.

Free to Play Status:

- [x] Free to play

Involvement: Solo developer. I designed, built, and shipped the game in Unity over the past year, including the Skillz SDK integration for real-money tournaments and the full App Store submission process.

Been building a mobile arcade game (Combat Corridor) and integrated the Skillz SDK for real-money skill tournaments. Took way longer than expected to get right.

Main issues I ran into:

  • Apple Pay sandbox testing didn't work the way the Skillz docs described
  • Tournament flow needed significant customization to feel native
  • Push notification setup had some gotchas not covered in the docs

Happy to share what I learned if anyone is going down this path. Drop a comment if you want specifics on any of it.
