A friend and I got drunk together one night. I became blackout drunk and was in and out of awareness. At one point I came around and realised we were making out and touching each other sexually. I felt extremely confused and a bit scared. She was repeatedly saying “I don’t want to lose you” over and over.
I then blacked out again and woke up the next morning in bed after sleeping. I asked her how it had started because I didn’t remember. She said, “You asked to kiss me”, that was basically the only explanation.
I feel confused because I don’t know how it started, don’t remember much, and know I wouldn’t have wanted that sober. There were also other times she gave me more drinks when I was already blackout drunk and my partner was telling her not to and trying to get me home.
How would you interpret this situation? Was this just two drunk people being messy? I’m trying to understand whether my confusion is valid and how to make sense of it now.
