so we have 4 park days with hopper. 2 kids (5 and 1) and 4 adults. we are booked right now at CBR, but may spend an extra grand and stay at the contemporary for location convenience. But I feel like it's only really convenient if you plan to do magic kingdom more than once. did you guys do MK more than once with kids? it would be walkable from the contemporary. also note we are going early December so the park will close early most nights due to the Christmas party.

just seeing if the upgrade is worth it!!

I know it's Mod vs Deluxe BUT

we originally had CBR booked. going with my husband, parents, 5 and 1 year old. we had adjoining rooms, preferred view. 4 days at the parks. we then found out the contemporary had a 1 bedroom villa (1 king, 1 queen, single pull out) with 2 bathrooms, kitchen, laundry, balcony for $1000 more for us. we would obviously be staying with my parents in the villa. do you think it's worth it??

for location and convenience alone I'm thinking yes? as far as additional costs, our flights are pretty much covered as we have gift cards and points. breakfast we'd do in the room every day besides character breakfast. lunch for the kids ill pack it and their snacks. I also don't eat a ton for lunch when doing rides and my mom has $1000 to use that can help with food

so normally I'd think no and definitely do one park a day HOWEVER we are going early December. Which means Mickey's Christmas Party and Jollywood is going on.

based on what travel agents have told me, the day of parties the park during the day is USUALLY (not alway) but typically a lighter crowd because a lot of people don't wanna do that park that day because it closes early. So for me, I personally would prefer to do those parks on party days. And then we can always go back another day if we wish. We do plan to go back to resort for rest and nap midday. so then if we have hopper and MK or HS is closed that night we can do a different park at night.

but idk. do we do that or no hopper and just go to the park on a non party day even if it may be insane crowds?

*we will have a 5 and 1 year old and my parents with us!
