Becoming warranty admin

Okay so, been in like a year and half, ford advisor, 3 main techs 1 oil change tech, me and the SM.
SM is leaving and is currently training me in to do all the warranty/extended warranty work so the next sm won’t have to. Lot of information crammed into the next 2 weeks, anyone have any advice being the warranty admin, tips and tricks for ford warranty and extended warranties like EasyCare and CNA, any advice or tips are appreciated, I’m excited to be taking on more of a workload.
(Yes I know I’m being “trained in” but I’m sure there’s plenty of stuff out there that could make life a little easier and simpler. Thanks.)

Looking for some guidance.

2021 hawk dlx,

Previous owner had the voltage regulator just hanging off the side of the bike, started having voltage and starting issues, found out the voltage regulator wasn’t working properly.

I have a new one but have no clue where the actual spot it’s supposed to mount up is at. Does anyone have any solutions or know where it’s supposed to go?

Almost 2 years old.. she got cancer and I was told to let her live out her days in comfort. Yesterday was the last day.
I have found out having a hamster is not for me. This has made me so upset. My coworkers said she’s just a hamster but she filled a void that nothing else could. I will never replace my Gigi.

Okay… so. New to the hawks I’ve been looking at buying one for a year. Saw one on marketplace. Showed up and test drove thru all the gears just fine.

Got it out after work today to take it for a test rip and to go put fuel in.

I fueled up and kept riding around for a while, decided to test my luck and take it out to the gravel.

I got out on the open road and let it have it wide open. As soon as I shifted to 5th the whole dash started flickering and the rear tire locked up and I somehow kept control and skidded probably 100 feet down the road.(Still don’t know how I didn’t pile it up. )

Got it into neutral (dash and lights still come on)

Bike will not turn over, it will crank and crank(yes I checked the kill switch.)

I push it the mile and half home(that sucked)

I get it in my garage and start checking out the wiring- this is where I see a few issues that need addressed- the one 15 amp fuse looks blown and the other one is fully packed with dirt and mud.

I start to inspect the rest of the bike and a lot of the wiring it just electrical taped to the frame.

This is where my question arises. Is it going to be easier to just strip all the wiring and start new because the previous owner beat the piss out of this thing it appears, I know I should’ve checked it over before riding it but I was excited to see how it rode.

Any advice on making this thing look and run good again would be appreciated- thank you everyone
