Working in Tech in France: Culture?

I'm currently working and living in the UK but will soon work for a French tech company (hybrid). I'm German and used to adapting to different cultures and working styles.

For anyone working in tech in France, what are the things you wish someone had told you before? The pros and cons? The do's and dont's?

Thank you!

Decision time: 10 years with partner but constant urge to be single

Pretty much the title. My partner is great. Supportive. Kind. Interesting. Emotionally available. We've been together for 10 years. I'm in my my 30s, he's in his mid 40s. Through reasons I don't want to get in to, I've been in a relationship pretty much since I was a teenager. My life was always shape by someone else. I love my partner but I can't shake the feeling that I want to be alone and live life for myself. I'm very independent and have a lot of interests. So I think I'd be absolutely fine. Am I throwing away a great relationship? Or is this the time to follow my intuition? I'm feeling very stuck.

Always bored as a PO

I've been a Product Owner for 8 years now across 3 different jobs/companies/sectors. After the initial rush of "what the heck am I doing?" at a new job, I quickly figure things out and get BORED. Big time bored! I can't figure out whether I'm only doing half my job or I'm super smart. PO roles are just a formula to apply to a product in my eyes. And the wait times are driving me up the wall. I like delivering, quick decisions, producing, seeing quick wins. I keep applying for senior positions but I don't know if that will make a difference because it will be even less hands-on. Is anyone else bored as a PO? Everyone else is saying how much they have on their plate but I don't think my time was ever maxed out! It's actually NOT a nice position to be in. Trust me. Thanks!
