Don’t run during play hours, the moving “b***s” attract male teachers.

Little Rock Indian School, Udupi, Karnataka really thought it was okay to tell girls with “heavy busts” to wear loose clothes and even limit how they move during play hour because it might “distract” boys and male staff. Imagine that , instead of letting students just be kids, run around, play, and exist freely, they’re being told to shrink themselves so others don’t get “distracted.”

The whole “wear loose clothes” thing is just a polite way of saying “hide your body because we can’t be bothered to teach boys and staff basic respect.” It’s not about discipline it’s about control. Why are girls being made responsible for someone else’s lack of self-control?

And the play hour part is even worse. That’s literally the one time students are supposed to relax, run, and enjoy. But no , now girls have to be conscious of how fast they run, how they move, how their body looks while doing something as normal as playing? That’s not just unfair, it’s damaging.

And a teacher getting “distracted” by ear piercings? What kind of professionalism is that? If your staff can’t handle something that basic, maybe stop hiring people who shouldn’t be around students in the first place.

This is outdated, regressive nonsense. Instead of creating a safe, respectful environment, the school is normalizing the idea that girls’ bodies are a “problem” to manage.

Do better. This isn’t discipline it’s straight-up backward thinking.

Fresher M.Com graduate looking for job in Bangalore – any referrals?

Hey everyone,

I’m a recent M.Com graduate and currently a complete fresher looking for job opportunities in Bangalore.

Trying to break into an MNC, but as most of you know, it’s really tough without referrals or the right connections.

I’m open to roles in finance, accounting, audit, operations, or related fields — mainly looking for a place where I can learn and grow.

If anyone here is working in an MNC and can help with a referral or share any openings, it would genuinely mean a lot.

Thanks in advance 🙏

I don’t know if it’s just me, but Kundapur keeps disappointing in the smallest yet most basic ways.

Stopped by Radha Medicals, which is supposedly one of the most well-known medical stores there. Finished my purchases and politely asked for a washroom since I had been travelling for 3 hours straight.

The response? “Washrooms are only for staff.”

I didn’t argue and just left, but later it really hit me ….how does a “big” establishment not provide access to something as basic as a restroom for customers?

What’s the point of having a large, well-maintained store if basic customer needs aren’t even considered? Especially for a medical store, where people might genuinely need such facilities.

Comparing this to places like Udupi or Manipal, the difference in customer experience is honestly noticeable.

It’s 2026 , basic amenities shouldn’t feel like a luxury.

Anyone else faced this in Kundapur?

I just wanted a very basic custom cake.,.half kg, white frosting with simple hearts. Nothing fancy.

But apparently all the “top” bakeries in Kundapur like Cakewala and Ribbons and Balloons are only willing to customise if it’s 1kg or more??

Like… why?? It’s literally the simplest design possible. Not everyone needs a 1kg cake for a small occasion.

Is this a normal thing here or am I just having bad luck with these places?

Any recommendations for bakeries/home bakers in Kundapur who actually do half kg custom cakes without making it a big deal?

I’ve been a loyal customer since the shop was in the old spot, back when the staff weren’t complete braindead zombies. But now? It’s turned it into a fucking nightmare run by rude, pushy dickheads who treat customers like shit on their shoes.

I roll in at 7:30 PM, and these bitchy ladies swarm me like roaches, tailing my ass and barking “What do you want?!” like I’m some thief. They take me to the chudidar section, where this intimidating prick starts slinging Tulu slangs “Enchinal saaw mare, time aethnd dayeg barond uller!” (Thanks to my local friend for translating that garbage , basically “What the fuck are you doing, it’s late, get the hell out!”).

This asshole hovers like a creepy predator, shoving clothes in my face, pressuring us to buy his crap and GTFO. Zero respect, pure intimidation.

And the quality? For 3500 fucking rupees, I get a pant that rips with a pathetic PARRRKKK PARRRKKK the second I try it on.

Oh, and don’t get me started on the poor mid-old lift man …..,..you heartless bastards make him stand all day like a slave. Give the guy a goddamn stool, you inhumane fucks – they’re humans, not your disposable toys!

I’ve checked multiple places in Manipal for a basic haircut (U cut + soft bangs), and every single one is quoting ₹800+ like it’s some luxury service. For what exactly?? It’s literally just a haircut, not a full makeover. Are they investing in gold-plated scissors or what?

Got so fed up that I went to Udupi and tried a random local parlour who charged 300, and she did an amazing job. No drama, no overpricing, just skill.

At this point it honestly feels like Manipal salons are charging based on hype, not value. High time this overpricing gets called out because this just ain’t it.

So this video is literally everywhere right now … local news, WhatsApp forwards, Insta pages . all because two youngsters were seen kissing near Hadiqa.

Apparently it was recorded by some localite and now it’s blown up like it’s breaking news or something. I honestly don’t get the outrage. Yeah, it’s public space… but is this really something worth filming and circulating everywhere?

Feels more invasive than scandalous tbh. Like… why are we normalising recording strangers without consent and turning it into content?

Curious to know what people here think ?! is this actually an issue or are we just overreacting to something that shouldn’t even matter?
