Stroble vs Oklahoma (Exempt trible income)

I'm a tribal member in Oklahoma living and working on the reservation of the tribe to which I belong. My exception was just rejected, along with other tribal members. I've been reading about the Stroble decision and I'm not looking to debate whether that decision was right or wrong.

This is my question: The exception is in the tax code for 2025. Even if Stroble gives the state the right to remove the exception from the tax code, I don't understand how the state can get away with not following their own tax code for 2025.

I've often heard that humans can't eat grass because our digestive system can't process it. Cows can because of their multiple stomachs. But what if I brewed or boiled the grass like a tea and drank the broth. Would any of the carbohydrates make it into the broth? Would I be able to process them? Would the calories from the broth offset the cost of collecting the grass?

I'm asking in a survival sense, not out of a desire to make grass tea.
