I bought a Tundra about 2 years ago from a local dealership and recently went to get it appraised for a trade and was told it may have frame damage. When I looked at the truck it had dent in the back bumper and part of our agreement was to get that bumper replaced. the dent was from a minor accident reported to Carfax, minimal damage was reported. the dealership took about a week but got it repaired for me go me to purchase. all has been fine with the truck.

fast forward 2 years later and I’m looking maybe trade it in. echo park was going to give me 31k for it and then came back and said they found that bolts weren’t fully connected on the bumper and that autocheck reported a moderate accident. they believe it may have frame damage and cut my offer in half. they think the original dealer wasn’t able to fully connect them because of possible frame damage.

i know I should’ve gotten it inspected to avoid this.

is it dumb to try to take it to some other dealerships and see if they miss this and try to trade it before maybe it gets worse?

Two big horns, both 2022, same price, mileage and same trim levels. One is the white sport option, one is in crystal black with traditional chrome accents. Which is better looking? What do you prefer?
