So I just had a costumer order rose petals and they want $50 worth of petals, we are a grocery store, are roses come in dozens and are basic ones are either 12.99 or 16.99, so what would $50 worth of rose petals look like and how many is acceptable she said there throwing them into the ocean for her mother

Could just be me but I’m a florist and often times customers will ask what I think looks nicer and they’ll say ok thank but then there are the people who ask and when I pick one they end up picking the other one anyway like why even ask me then, to me if your picking out flowers for you or someone else I feel my opinion isn’t needed, should be what you like not what I like sorry for the vent
