Air vs IONIQ 6?
I currently have a 2023 RWD IONIQ 6, and am thinking of getting a used Air. I bought the IONIQ 6 2 1/2 years ago, CPO with ~800 miles, and love the car - easily my favorite car thusfar. Only issue is that I could really use an upgrade to AWD, and I need more miles than the an AWD IONIQ 6 would provide (drive 800-900 miles a week for work and often drive 250+ miles in a day).
I tend to like smaller cars, so the extra length isn't a major selling point for me ... but I also know I'll likely need more space when my child starts getting involved with activities before long. What I worry most about missing, though, is the buttons and knobs. I'm especially a fan of the paddles behind the steering wheel to change regen on the fly! Also like cruise control buttons placed on the steering wheel spoke right next to where your thumb rests.
So, for folks here who have driven both, what are your thoughts on how they compare with driver ergonomics? How does the driving experience compare between the two?
It's a tough call for me. Give up a car I know I love for one which would be more practical in winter, and take the chance on not liking the replacement as much.
