I thought that I should finally get around to adding in some "fancy" lighting around my home base, so I finally get chiselling a proper try. This is the farm/lumber/fruit orchard/bee area.
The blocks used are: polished limestone, limestone rock, obsidian, walnut planks, pine planks, polished bauxite, & quartz glass.
I initially tried to shape it like an arching number 2, but gave up when it came to the bottom part, so I went with the oval hole. Then I tried my hand at adding a little something to the back & ended up with this candle. That then made me think of adding a candle in the hole & I think it came out alright given the size of the space.
I'm unsure about the quartz glass. Should I switch it up to normal clear glass, or just get rid of it entirely?
When I get around to making more of these things I'll definitely be installing QP's Chisel Tools first.
