Need honest opinions only
Hello been in IT 8 years. Currently work from home full-time, Service Desk Manager, work for MSP. Make roughly around 90K/yearly. I have health insurance. No 401K or retirement though. I want out of management.
May have an opportunity to go work local government public sector for a county.
Is it worth it?
They would offer $73K - $88K (raises over time), pension, benefits and job security. I would have to commute through 20-30 mins. Full time on-site
Is it worth giving up what I have? I’m ready to slow down in life.
