Are there any criticisms you feel are unwarranted or too harsh?

Obviously this subreddit is about criticizing Vivziepop's works, and rightfully so. But even some of the more genuine criticisms I feel might be a bit biased or opinion based as apposed to a critic of her writing or art. For instance, I get where some people come from in terms of character designs when they say they are overly detail and cluttered. Granted that has only gotten better since her studios were bought out. However, I'm not too much of a fan of people hating the fact that they are themed off early 2000's cultures such as scene, or being furry based. It's perfectly fine if you don't like it! But its not *objectively bad* because its inspired by subcultures Vivienne might have been a part of or a fan of. Now I do think the edgy shock humor is a bit dated and people have a right to get sick of it. Though I myself am also not a big fan of the tumblr sexyman feel to some of the male characters, but if the writing can save them, than its not so bad.

Another thing is saying that all their body types are the exact same. Are we even watching the same show? The whole thing with Vivziepop's art is the fact that they are all incredibly unique and stylized! Maybe *I'm* just the biased one, but considering Vivienne is most remembered for her art style, I think its safe to say that there is a reason she is popular. But while her art style and inspiration are perfectly fine in my eyes, (0I do objectively like it), I do agree her writing is definitely not her strong suit and needs a better team to hold it up.

I don't understand half the accusations towards Viv.

I want a genuine explanation. Where are people getting some of these accusations from? Like, Viv supposedly being a pedophile, racist, and transphobic? Where are these coming from? I seriously have no clue.

Also, to add insult to injury, people claim she's ok with rape over one crappy joke, and a character who is supposedly a rapist. Going off that logic alone, you could argue Seth McFarlane is also pro rape, or other Seth Rogan, or any other adult cartoonist. Why single her out? Hers wasn't even nearly as bad as some of theirs!

Something that always bothered me in the movie was, why did Zim willingly surrender to Dib? But more importantly, what made Dib think Zim would consent to his plan of exposing him? We went from a rather sweet moment of them slightly bonding over their shared emotional struggles with their parental figures, to Dib just hatching a plan to expose Zim on TV, and somehow expects Zim to be ok with it?? Did he seriously think Zim would just give up right then and there, and consent to that? I'm probably waaaayyy overthinking it, but I never understood exactly what they were agreeing on there.
