I had an active social life in my 20s. I was in bands and dated 3-4 women seriously. Around 30 I finished college and started my career. I was in a very committed relationship with the mother of my child. We have been in a fairly contentious separation. We own a home together and both are committed parents who want as much time with our child as possible.
I’m alone now. I know it’s good for me. I need to learn how to love myself. I need to be content with a more simple, calm life. Even if only temporarily.
I want to start making art again. I want to make music. I want to meet people and have interesting conversations. I want to read more. I want to learn a new language. I want to get into yoga and Buddhism. Grew up in Catholic school until college. Now atheist.
The last 4 years as a parent I’ve lost myself. I used to do art, music, even has nerdy hobbies like works of Warcraft. I’m oddly into sports. Huge sports fan really.
