Texture Effect (DSE) is excessive on my ASUS XG32UCWG?

I Recently purchased, a few days ago, the ASUS XG32UCWG WOLED and immediately I noticed very apparent horizontal lining sort of a texture effect on any gray color. It is very noticable in any dark mode application (browser, file explorer, really any dark gray solid color).

I have done alot of research since I bought it to find out if this is normal. I concluded thay it is normal for WOLEDs to experience this issue and is sometimes referred to as DSE (Dirty screen effect). I also have an old LG CX but I never noticed the same issue maybe because it was always further away than the monitor viewing distance. But I also tested it and found that the texture effect was not really noticeable even close up. I read that this can "broken-in" with more use of the panel so this might be why my LG CX is better or maybe its not really comparable with the monitor technology.

What I want to ask is if this amount of DSE on my panel (I understand that this is also a panel lottery) is supposed to be within the normal range or not? It seems excessive to my eyes (seems more apparent IRL than in the photos). During gaming its not so noticeable to be honest but I am bothered by the fact that I can so clearly see it in any dark mode app as I browse etc... I have a 15 day return window in amazon so I was contemplating whether I should return and try my luck again with the same model.

TLDR: is the texture-like effect or "DSE" on my panel within normal range or is it excessive and warrants a return?

Planning to buy a new 34 inch ultrawide Oled monitor. Im currently in a dilemma as I have 2 options: either I buy now the MSI 341CQPX (~970 USD) or wait who knows how long (maybe few months) for the new gen MSI 341CQR X36 which I know has the new subpixel layout to fix the text fringing issue and better black levels. In my country (in middle east) releases are currently delayed due the instability of the region.

To give some context I currently have a 1440p IPS panel. Im mainly buying the new monitor for gaming but also would work on it from time to time. Usage will also include browsing and watching content.

My question is: is it worth waiting for the new-gen panels to be available considering also that their price would most likely be 20-30% more than old gen QD-Oleds available here which could put the new monitor at ~USD1200 or more. My main concern is the text fringing issue. Is it really that bad if Im working on it from time to time. I tried to find a similar panel on display at electronics stores to see it in person but was not able to find any on display.

Or should I just go ahead and buy the currently available monitor.

Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
