SCH still bleeding at 23 weeks. Any positive stories?

I’ve had a SCH my whole pregnancy. It was larger earlier on but I did not have much bleeding with it. Around 20 weeks, I started seeing bright red blood, the hematoma had shrunk to 4cm but the bleeding won’t let up. I have 1-2 episodes of red bleeding each day which is so scary to see.

Has anyone experienced this so late into the second trimester and been fine without a placental abruption or preterm labor? I don’t know what to do anymore. My doctors try to be reassuring but also prepare us for other outcomes.

I have a high risk pregnancy currently and have been going to see a doctor at Northwestern downtown, however, it’s getting hard to travel with all the appts. Is there an OB who delivers at Lutheran General that you’d recommend for higher risk? It would be easier to travel to and they have a higher level NICU as well which gives me some peace of mind. Thank you!
