It's been like 2 years since I last played the game. I've been dying to replay it again, but I wanted to wait for mod support. Sadly ever since the delay, we heard nothing. This is pretty sad. We aslo had a lot of rumors about the alleged May DLC, but again, it's nowhere to be found, and I doubt we'll see it at this point.

I mainly wanted a transmog system cause some low level items are beyond drip, and maybe a playable ciri in the open world mod.

I remember back when I started playing, people were encouraging me to try and get a dps for each element. And I think that's a good move for newer players.

Now imagine you get a 5 star that can do 5 types of damage and do very respectable damage with a One Cost Team!

That's right, for new players, if You get Varka and hopefully prune, you can get a bunch of great choices for his teams. Xiangling and fischl are both free, you can get bennett from the store, and you'll also have the other Knights of Favonius for free (amber, Lisa and Kaeya)

If you don't get prune, you just pick up sucrose instead of fischl.

Even in low constellation teams with characters that don't have the greatest synergies, you can get to around 50-80k PHEC dps. Which is insanely high value!

Personally, If I were to somehow just start genshin today, I would go for Varka no questions asked!

I pulled for the entire AoD team 💀. Just for them to fall off after only 2 patches? Aria is most definitely cooked cause there's no way a void hunter isn't outdamaging her.

There's a hidden cutscenes at the end. In order to get it, you must collect all 729 sounds in the game and incorporate them all in a single 4 hour long song called "Stranger than Heaven".

Then you'll get the cutscene where the omi alliance surrounds makoto, and wants to kill him for creating the Tojo clan. He's pretty weak and old at this point, so he can't fight, but then this guy shows up, and beats all the Omi guys.

Makoto then tells him "I didn't expect a stranger to help me. Those Omi guys were stronger than demons. But they're in heaven now. I was quite strong during my earlier years, but I never seen someone fight like you. You fight... like a dragon "

The camera pans to the man's face and he looks very similar.

There's a sort of flashback. The Arakawa theme from Yakuza 7 plays here. The man from before is looking out the window. A woman's voice can be heard and she says: "I wish they would just leave us alone. Now you're talking about all this nonsense about the Yakuza and the Tojo Clan."

As her voice gets more desperate, a newborn is heard crying. The man then turns around and tells her: "everything will be fine. Isn't that right, little Kazuma" as he picks up the baby.

The flashback ends here and we have a cutback to the tojo hq where we see some familiar faces. It's a ceremony and they're accepting the guy from before into the Clan. We don't have a name for him, so we'll call him John for now. We get a shot of a very young Kazama spotting something with the corner of his eye. A sniper scope glare. He positions himself in a way that covers the line of sight from the sniper to John.

Later, at night, we get a shot of John driving back to his small apartment.

John arrives at his apartment. We hear suspenseful music as he climbs up the stair. He opens the door and he sees his wife and child sleeping soundly.

We then see a man in a suit, with a silenced pistol, walking carefully between buildings, approaching the place where John lives.

We then hear footsteps running behind him. Kazama tries a sneak attack, but he gets thrown to the ground. He gazes up and hears "why are you so eager to stop me... brother". The man steps forward from the shadows, and we see he looks just like kazama. Yes, this is in fact Joji. Kazama's brother from Yakuza 3.

Kazama gets on his feet and takes a fighting stance. "You're about to take 3 innocent lives. And for what?"

"You'll never understand it, brother. The agency is bigger than all of us. This individual is the strongest human on earth. He represents a danger to the very stability of this country"

Kazama looks distraught, he then forms a fist and attacks his brother. We get a dynamic intro, and we get to fight as Kazama against Joji.

As someone who has played most mainline games, this is perhaps the hardest non Jo Amon fight. And yeah, it's a scripted loss. Joji demolishes his brother who's left crawling. He then slowly walks towards the stairs to John's place.

Kazama is doing his best to get on his feet and stumbles towards the apartment. We hear two barely audible gunshots then Kazama bursts in. The baby starts crying as Joji is holding his gun pointed at it.

We get another flashback of Kazama talking to John: "this life... it's the only way of protecting my family. Out there, I'm a target. I can't run away. They'll eventually find me. This war, it ended 2 decades ago, but the United states can't rest until they have my head. Japan's greatest soldier". "I get it, Kiryu. You'll be one of us soon. And we protect our own. From anything."

Kazama shouts at his brother "Joji, stop!"

Joji stays still, his gun still pointed at the baby.

Kazama continues: "this kid, he is not to blame, for any of it. Bullets that kill, would you put them in him? With your breath so still, do you really belive, in the father's sins"

"Is that a metal gea..."

"Yes, it is. Now put your gun down. The deed is done"

Joji holsters his gun and walks towards the exit.

"This kid... one day, he will have to know the truth"

Cutback to early morning. We see a shot of sunflower orphanage.

"Goodmorning Kazama san! Is that... have we received another baby?"

"Yes, Himari"

"Aww, he's so cute. Does he have a name?"

"Kazuma. Kiryu Kazuma" cuts to baby Kiryu opening his eyes. Receive you starts playing. Credits roll. 🖐😩🤚 absolute cinema.

A short summary: Kiryu's father was the strongest soldier in ww2. In fact he was declared the strongest human on earth due to his absolute inhuman fighting abilities. The USA wanted him dead and they can't just outright arrest and execute him. They're trying to do thia covertly. He's been on the run for a long time. He finds out about the Tojo Clan and he has hope that they'd be able to help him, or at least keep his son safe.

Kazama is not the one that killed Kiryu's parents. He only said that to protect his brother. Basically he knew that Kiryu wouldn't try to take revenge on him, but it might have been a completely different story if he later found out that Joji was in fact the killer.

In case you're worried about Sega sending their Assassin's after me, don't worry. I have also leaked the entirety Yakuza 9, and I have successfully repelled all of their attacks.

Lohen not on standard confirmed. This honestly makes sense and doesn't at the same time. He got some decent damage, maybe too much for standard, but who's gonna be standard then?

So after seeing that prune makes all elements viable, I sort of reconsidered my decision to pull for Nicole.

I've tried to look for calcs but I can't seem to find them. Especially with my cons.

Varka, C1 Fischl, C2 Iansan, C2 prune

I thought I'd pull on the next banner and maybe get lucky and get a few prunes without getting tha 5 star.

And if somehow I do get it early, how would Nicole and durin look in the setup of C0R0 Varka, c2 prune, C3 bennett, C0 Nicole or C0 Durin. What would the damage be for each. Cause I wanna know on who's banner I should spend the wishes, since they'll have the same 4 stars!

So I've started playing 2 days ago. I was lucky, and I pulled hiyuki in 14 pulls. I see that this game has a dedicated pull token for weapons, but I don't have any yet, and events don't seem to give any.

Am I missing something? Is the only way to get em spending the asterite, or buying em with Coral?

Also could you please explain how the weapon system pulling works. Can you lose the 50/50, is there pity? Does poty carry over?

Seeing how Varka needs two characters of the same type and one anemo, I don't see him benefiting from the new cryo electro and dendro reactions.

Fair to say, this is a lid. Ofc we could still get some stronger buffers that would work on him, but I think it's gonna be the Lauma, Linnea situation, where they will focus on buffing new reactions.
