[KCD2] Wearing a Cleric Habit with the Knights of the Red Cross hood turns the cross to Gold!
I didn't notice this until I was playing around with some gear options this weekend! Little details like this make me appreciate these games even more!

So I beat KCD2 normal and hardcore and loved it so decided to give KCD1 a go. I'd read loads about how Runt is the first real boss, so I was really anticipating the fight. we break through his camp and then the boss fight starts...
Runt charges at me, I feint right but hit top. Runt crumples to the ground. oh no, is the game bugged? nothing is happening. no dialogue and no cutscene. I loot Runt's sword and all his armor. Then I realise he's just unconscious and remember I recently unlocked the trait that increases the chance to knock out enemies so must have gotten really lucky. I mercy kill him. the end.
Does this building have a purpose? Or is it just plopped here?
after getting Peggy, simply ride to the castle and and active "follow path," and your horse will keep riding in circles. + have a sip of the fox potion if you want horsemanship skill to advance faster. good luck
So there's a thieving contract on stealing something from the cobbler, and when i wanted to get out of the house, i decided to jump into the window, which was one of those jumpable through windows, you know the type.
Thing is, it led to a small nook backyard with no entrances in or out, and it had a wall separating it from a higher standing backyard, wall which you couldn't jump over. There was a ladder tho inside the nook, which i thought was climbable as an exit, but no, it was just a prop.
I even tried changing my jump height in console to jump over the wall, but it had collision over it, meaning no passage through there. Tried jumping back into the window, it didnt let me through inside, no crouching no vaulting. Couldn't even fast travel out of there. Ended up setting my jump height too big and died from fall damage after jumping over the building, so had to restart the burglary.
I just wanted to share that i saw a handcanon irl in prague. Thats all, bye! (Going to replay kcd2 because of this trip)
To be fair, my Henry usually wears spectacles but in the council meeting he didn't so that's why barely anybody recognized him other than Vavak of course.
Never knew Henry was camera shy
Jesus Christ be Praised!
Okay, this is just dumb.
I am currently playing KCD1 and, having played KCD2 first and been on this subreddit for a while, I have heard about the infamous monastery quest and I was actually excited to play through it to see what the fuss was about. While I have heard that a lot of people dislike it, I actually like the concept of it.
I finally start the quest, and right after Antonius finishes the tour with me, I go through his various dialogue options. I see the option to confess the mission, and I choose it with the expectation that it's a stupid idea and there will be consequences, but I am curious about the outcome and want to reload after. Weirdly enough he doesn't seem to mind. Then I get the option to accuse him with literally no evidence, which is confusing but again it sounds funny and I wanna see his angry reaction to an out-of-the-blue accusation like that. He IMMEDIATELY confesses! What?!
I've now ruined the whole questline for myself without exploring an inch of the monastery. Why is this even an option before gathering any clues? Literally any other quest in the game you need to collect evidence before dialogue options like that appear. This is what I expected to happen here - I thought I would accuse him, and he would keep denying it unless I eventually found good evidence.
I didn't even suspect him at all so I'm honestly kind of pissed. I'll reload and do it right for RP's sake but it has definitely taken some of the fun out of it.
Alright so, I'm in front of Godwin right now and OH MY GOD. THANKS. Cause when I say that his mission in kcd1 is my favorite IT IS MY FAVORITE. I can't wait to see what's going on with him, probably on my top 3 characters at this point, I love him so much
