Hey everyone,

Planning a Solo Trip to Kasol soon and trying to decide on a Hostel stay. I’ll probably be carrying a Laptop Bag + Trekking Bag, so I’d prefer somewhere that’s easy to access and not too exhausting to reach with Luggage 😅

Currently considering:

The Hosteller (main / Riverside / Parvati Valley)

goSTOPS

Zostel

Any hidden gems you’d recommend

What I’m mainly looking for:

\- Good social vibe for Solo Travelers

\- Clean Washrooms & decent Beds

\- Nice common areas/Café vibe

\- Good Mountain/Riverside atmosphere

\- Not insanely far from the main Kasol area

\- Budget-friendly

Would also love to know:

Which Hostel has the best crowd?

Which one gets too noisy/touristy?

Which one is best for actually meeting people?

any places to avoid?

Hello, I lost my Phone last Night while returning from Bhalu Waterfall, around Dhari. I am very Clueless atm, idk what to do. I went to the Police station to file a Report today. I have also requested a SIM of the same Number; all my important and official accounts are linked to that SIM/Number.

Does anyone have a spare Phone that I could borrow? I am currently staying in a Hostel in Nainital. Please Help this lost Traveller. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

I think my phone fell somewhere on the road while travelling from Bhalu Gaad Waterfall towards Dhari today. I only realized much later, and now I’m not sure what to do next.

The phone had my SIM card, WhatsApp, banking apps, etc. I’ve already tried calling it, but [it’s switched off / no one is picking up].

I’m currently in/around Nainital and wanted advice on:

• Whether locals usually hand over lost phones somewhere nearby
• Whether I should check nearby shops/police stations first
• Best way to track or recover it in this area
• Anything else I should urgently do apart from blocking the SIM

If anyone from around Dhari/Bhalu Gaad has suggestions or has dealt with something similar, please help.

Hey, if anyone reading this is in Panjim, can I please use your Washing Machine? I tried asking around and they're charging Rs 100 per piece for Laundry 😭 (I have 3-4 T-shirts and 3-4 Pants). Ik it's very sudden, but I have a Train tomorrow, so I have to get it done by today if possible 🥺
