LinkedIn Tech Job listings be like: "Job posted 3 seconds ago....Over 100 people clicked apply."🤔

I refreshed LinkedIn, saw a remote software engineer role posted "2 minutes ago" and thought, finally, I'm early.

Clicked on it. "Over 100 applicants."

How is that even possible? Are people just camping on LinkedIn with auto-apply bots running?

The job market feels completely broken when you're competing with hundreds of people before the hiring manager even finishes their coffee.

And half of these are probably ghost jobs that were filled internally anyway.

Does anyone else feel like applying to jobs has become a full-time job that pays nothing?

Job seekers: LinkedIn and Indeed are too “noisy”.

I have seen success with some of these, so I decided not to gatekeep.
