Just got the email with the official closing date of Hermes at selfridges London. Any other selfridges shoppers feeling sad about this? Truly an end of an era. What I loved about shopping H at selfridges was that it was easy to browse around without having to go “in” a store and I of course loved accumulating selfridges VSP points while shopping H! Really hope the new flagship “Maison” boutique is fabulous! Has anyone received an official invitation for the new store opening on Bond Street?

I am a long-time collector of Hermes bags and my collection focuses on collecting different Hermes bags in different leathers. I’m super lucky to have mostly all the leathers I’m looking to collect and I’ve fallen in love with my vintage Kelly cut in box leather. I have two Kelly pochettes (one in swift and one exotic) and I’m looking to add a box leather Kelly pochette to my collection. I’ve been looking for one for the last four years with no luck! With the latest Hermes runway showing micro picotins in box leather, I was wondering if you guys think it’s just a matter of time before box leather KPs come back too? Would love to hear your thoughts!
