Area X size and shape
About 120 pages into authority. On Control's run after getting home from his first day, he described the size of area X, stating: "The border extended about seventy miles inland from the lighthouse and approximately forty miles east and forty miles west along the coast." This implies that area X has a 35 mile radius. I placed a circle with a radius of 35 miles with the southern edge 1 mile away from the lighthouse (at St. Marks Wildlife Refuge) This area would be massive, consuming the entire city of Tallahassee. On top of that, it would be impossible for the border to go 40 miles east and west. Does this mean area X is not a circle/sphere? This is how I have been imagining it, but it seems like it may be a eccentric ellipse that runs parallel with the shore. I'm curious on what the general consensus here is for the size and shape of are x. Remember, I'm only on book 2, so don't spoil anything I would not already know please.
