I (29,F) just lost my partner of 6.5 years, (29,M) after a 2 month long - unexpected- battle in the hospital. Not only did I lose my best friend, the love of my life, my soulmate, I also lost my future, hopes and dreams.

Back in January, I was listening to an episode of THT. It was about how men only receive flowers at their funeral. This made me sad, so, on my way home from work, I bought my partner flowers (football mums- because he loved football). He was so appreciative, but also confused and asked “uhh… is something wrong?” 😂

It has been 2 weeks since he passed and I am completely heartbroken and lost.

Thank you for this podcast and letting me hear that story so I could get him flowers and have this important memory. I am so happy I was able to do this. I made sure to get “football mums” for his funeral. 💔

Hi. I’m 29 (F). I just lost my partner of 6.5 year, 29 (M) after a 2 month long battle in the hospital. Not only did I lose my best friend, the love of my life, my soulmate, I also lost my future, hopes and dreams.

I am not sure what to do or how to cope. I will take any advice.

I don’t want to start my life over. I miss him more than anything. 💔
