Anxiety from stopping vitamin D?
Like the title days, I stopped vitamin D (50mcg) and I'm wondering if there's any relation to that and anxiety.
I moved to a wintery place and everyone told me to take vitamin D, so that's what I did everyday for the last 6 months. Now that it's sunny and warmer, I haven't been taking it since the sun is out and it's one less thing for me to think about in the morning. However, I noticed my anxiety spikes maybe coinciding with the stopping of taking the vitamin. I was taking it every so often just because it's still sometimes cold and gloomy, but not consistently. Looking back, I think the anxiety spikes were around the times that I was off of vitamin D for longer. I had really bad anxiety the past few days and I also didn't take any vitamin D for the past week. I took it again yesterday and today. Maybe it's placebo at this point, but I felt so much better this morning than I did yesterday before starting taking it again.
TLDR: Am I getting anxiety from vitamin D withdrawal or something?
