Just got it put in. Base tune installed. Probably sound better after the tune
I paid for all parts and tune myself before I took it to the shop so this price does not include parts
Austin Texas area.. from what I understand there are no dodge shops .. lots of Chevy and import though
Included
- oil gasket
- fluids - oil - coolant
- labor
Cam, lifters, springs, pushrods, highflow oil pump, new gaskets
I was quoted $3k .. now pickup price is $4300
3k didn’t include oil pump install or fluids
This is not a shop specifically for stuff like this more of a high quality shop like going to the dealership. (Mom and pop no chain)
Seems about $800 too much.
- but I am no professional.
Shop had my car for a month
No pressure from me.
They said they had to learn some things and R&D on their side.
Does this sound normal?
They did pull my motor
Been going some acrylic underpainting with oil pastel over the top.
Idea came up via me and my sister
Some initial pics
Vehicle has 37k miles
- found the exhaust leak I couldn’t find. Was a lose header bolt
- tune (FRP)
- stainless works long tube and high flow cats
- borla cat back attak
- FRP F-16 cam kit with MDS delete
