Hey everyone,

I had a liquid spill on my Corsair K70 MAX and I'm trying to fully disassemble it to clean the PCB before it corrodes.

Here's what I've done so far:

- Removed all keycaps

- Removed all screws I can find from the bottom (checked under rubber pads — nothing hidden there on this model)

- Removed screws from the top plate

The keyboard is still held together and I can feel resistance when trying to separate the case.

My questions:

  1. Are there screws hidden somewhere else too on the K70 MAX?

  2. How does the top section (with the media buttons, brightness controls and Corsair logo) separate — is it clipped, screwed, or something else?

  3. Is there a specific order I should follow to open this keyboard?

I've seen teardown guides for older K70 models but the K70 MAX seems different enough that those don't fully apply. Any help or photos would be massively appreciated. Trying to save this board before the damage gets worse!

Thanks
