Hello I just bought a new prebuilt and my Bluetooth controller and headphones won't show up when searching for devices. When testing my Xbox controller, it connected briefly will but it disconnected and now says it won't connect either.

I have,

-Reinstalled Bluetooth drivers

-Downloaded all updates

-Restarted pc

-Made sure devices were up to date and connecting to other devices (phone)

-Checked Bluetooth settings

I am have no idea what else to do, does anyone have any ideas?

So I’ve been getting calls at work on my personal phone sounds like a teen I’m 20 for reference and they called me today saying dumb stuff like “I’m going to beat your ass”
And making lies about my bf they also threatened to come to my job and “beat me up” I just want to know who it is because they know too much about me and I’m worried because I work with children and don’t want any type of drama at my job I also suspect it might be an ex employee who got fired. So if anyone who is tech savvy could help me I would really appreciate it :) (also I don’t want to pay any sites for this 😭)

Laptop is HP Envy x360 if that is needed for context

I've waited the 48 hours of the laptop being in a tent position on a towel and just now started it up again

Everything else works except for the keyboard, the power button seems to be the only key that works (haven't tried any of the others on the very top row but do know that the letters and numbers don't work)

What would be the best thing to do now?

If I do need to take it apart, any recommendations on where to find screwdrivers that small?

I have accidentally downloaded a virus called "pc app store" and it won't disappear after closing. It also hides all other apps and won't let me click anything.

Hello, I have been having this issue where whenever I play games, even low power ones my fans go really fast, then my GPU flatlines at 100% usage. When this happens, I get a maximum of 5 frames, and all voice communication drops on Discord or in-game chat. I am on a HP Spectre laptop with an NVIDIA 4050 graphics card. I have a windows 10 Lenovo ThinkBook 14-IIL laptop that I just installed a fresh new copy of Windows 10 via USB stick literally 5 hours ago at the time I'm making this post. When I plug in a wireless mouse, the cursor works perfectly. Without one, or by just using the trackpad, it won't work at all. Any fixes you can suggest?

I moved apartments recently, so I had to re-set up my pc. I plugged my monitor into my computer and it didn't work. So I plugged it into another area in my computer (this time into the graphics card), and it still didn't turn on. I tried another cable, then an entire other monitor, and neither of them worked. I even tried to push the graphics card in a bit more.

I know it's not the graphics card itself because it still lights up when I turn on the PC.

I have actually no clue what's going on. any advice?

(by the way, NOTHING on the monitors turn on. not even a flicker of light. it's pitch black. I did also try the on button a lot on the monitors)

Hello. I'm having a problem with my mouse, and I don't know if it's a hardware or software issue. It double-clicks, so I replaced it, but it's still giving me the same problems. I've had the other one for almost 5 or 6 years. I don't know what to do. I've followed several instructions from Gemini: changing the speed from slow to fast and from fast to slow, uninstalling and reinstalling the mouse driver, holding down the keys for 30 seconds, changing the port's power saving settings, etc. I've even tried searching for the mouse software (which it doesn't have) and checking Task Manager to see if any software is interfering with the mouse. Gemini also suggested uninstalling the graphics tablet app, which I haven't used in a long time. I don't know what to do, and this problem is becoming very, very annoying. Could you please help?
For the rest, I use Windows.

I found another post from someone asking the same thing. Apparently, blowing between the mouse buttons solved the problem, so I think I'll do that from now on, unless there's anything else. Thanks for your time.

So I've got a windows 10 pc that I built which originally had a 256gb SSD as a boot drive and a 2TB HDD for mass storage, which I upgraded to a SSD at a later time just for faster speeds. Both SSD's are Samsung SATA drives. (Specs: MB: ROG STRIX Z490-A, GPU: RTX 3080, CPU: Intel Core i5 10600k)

Recently we had some power flashes and ever since then my PC will show the BIOS loading screen but then just go black with my cursor visible as the blue spinning circle that shows its thinking.

My initial thought is that windows is corrupt. I've been through all the different software troubleshooting that's in the windows recovery environment: startup repair, system restore, etc.

It seems my only option at this point is to re-install windows from scratch onto my boot drive but I will have to partition the drive and wipe everything and unfortunately I've got files on this drive I want to save. So my question is: if I get a new boot drive (like a 500gb NVME) would I be able to install windows on that drive and potentially transfer my files that were on my old boot drive to save them? Or would I be running into other problems by doing that? The other thing is I don't think I can get a Windows 10 product key anymore so I would probably have to put Windows 11 on this new drive, and I don't know if that would also cause any issues.

So for the past month i have been dealing with a ton of blue screens of death and freezes. It started with MEMORY_MANAGEMENT which happened only once a day. I reinstalled windows 11 but things got worse. Every day as soon as i log into windows i get a bsod, KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE, kernel mode exception, irql not less or equal and other less common ones like Kmode exception error. I've done SFC but it showed no errors, in windows memory diagnostics it also had no errors. XMP is always off and fast boot is also off. I've reinstalled gpu drivers in safe mode but it didnt fix anything. The crashes stop after a while and the pc runs normally. However it doesn't crash in safe mode
