Avengers Earth's Mightiest Heroes - Season 3 And Beyond Plans

https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/WhatCouldHaveBeen/TheAvengersEarthsMightiestHeroes

• blog belonging to Thomas Perkins, one of the show's character designers, showed some potential plots that the show could have gone into, including:
• the Impossible Man giving Ant-Man, Wasp, Captain America and the Hulk the powers of the Fantastic Four.
• The appearances of DeathlokDaimon Hellstrom, 3-D Man and Rom: Spaceknight (though it's likely if they had attempted that, it wouldn't have been possible due to legal hang-ups with Hasbro, successor to Parker Brothers, who licensed Rom to Marvel).
• The X-Men and the Avengers teaming up along Uatu in an Alternate Universe, with Rogue apparently having Ms. Marvel's powers and costume.
• Hulk fighting alongside Crystar, Crystal Warrior (an obscure Merchandise-Driven comic from Marvel in the early 80s).
• Giant-Man fighting alongside Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau) and Machine Man (shades of Nextwave, perhaps?)
• Mockingbird being saved by the Human Fly.
• The Wasp becoming Captain Universe.
• Bill Foster becoming the new Giant-Man (or possibly Goliath).
• Thor and Adam Warlock fighting what appears to be Shuma-Gorath.
• The Hulk fighting Omega the Unknown.
• Captain America encountering Baron Blood and Morbius.
• A potential appearance of the Super-Adaptoid as a main villain
• potential appearance by Black Bolt.
• In an interview, Perkins mentioned that these characters were considered to appear in the future: Doctor Strange, Ghost Rider, The Mimic, Alpha Flight, Daredevil, The Imperial Guard, The X-Men, The Defenders, The Winter Guard, etc.
• Josh Fine in an interview says if he continued to helm the series for a third season, said season would have been the "Magic Season" (Season 1 being the Assemble Season, Season 2 being the Cosmic Season). He didn't go into too much detail, but some have speculating that Doctor Strange, Dormammu, Scarlet Witch, and other characters would have shown up. He's also mentioned that Tony and Maria's conversation about registering super-heroes from episode 28 would have been followed up. Apparently, Fine even had some ideas for a FOURTH Season, but hasn't given any details.
• Yost reconfirmed the thematic, mentioning that the first half would be a heavy focus on magic with introduction of the mutants, while the second half being centered on the X-Men.
• In an interview with Josh Fine, he said that they would have liked to introduce characters like TaskmasterEddie Brock, and Carnage in Season 3.
• In a tweet from Christopher Yost, he stated that the line-up for the X-Men in the series would have been Professor X, Cyclops, Marvel Girl, Wolverine, Nightcrawler, Storm, Shadowcat, Colossus and Rogue.
• Yost considered introducing a lot of mutants and mystical characters. Some of them would be the Juggernaut, Sub-Mariner, Namora, etc.
• An apparition of the Squadron Supreme and the Black Order was planned in the future.
• Galactus would have returned, invading finally Hala and menacing the Kree Empire like it was originally planned in season 2. Also was planned to do some retcons about his appearance in season 2 finale.
• Yost declared that an adaptation of Emperor Doom was still under the table.
• Spider-Man would have been a recurring guest character, having reserved at least two appearances per season (although not as an active Avenger, nor as part of the New Avengers in the short-term).
• To commemorate the show's 10th anniversary, Christopher Yost posted some additional details on what might have occurred in Season 3 on his Twitter, including the debuts of (in addition to the aforementioned Doctor Strange, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Dormammu) the X-Men, The DefendersThe EternalsNamor the Sub-Mariner, Tigra, the West Coast Avengers, Hercules, Black Knight, and Nova & the Nova Corps, as well as villains like Magneto, Nightmare, Kulan Gath, Modred the Mystic, the Midgard Serpent, the Juggernaut, the Brood, the High Evolutionary, Chthon, and Rama-Tut. Elements like the Serpent Crown, the Twilight Sword, the Darkhold, the Phoenix Force, Wundagore Mountain, mutants, the Atlanteans, the Inhumans, the New-Men, the Deviants, the Eternals, and the Celestials would've also been introduced.
• The first half of Season 3 would have focused on Thor as the main protagonist and Surtur as the main antagonist, adapting the "Ragnarök" story arc with original elements like Surtur invading of Midgard as the midseason finale, while mystical-themed characters like Doctor Strange would have a key part in stopping Surtur's invasion.
• Loki would join forces with Surtur, trying to get revenge against Odin and Asgard as a whole.
• Asgard would've been destroyed after this arc, and New Asgard would be established on Earth.
• There also would've been a proper conclusion to the storylines of the Enchantress and Wonder Man. It was going to be revealed that Wonder Man survived his death in Season 2 and became a servant of Surtur before the Avengers free him. Amora, who would be mentally broken and more nihilistic due to the trauma for being betrayed by Loki and Zemo, defeated by the Avengers, and enslaved by Surtur, would've been rescued from Surtur too.
• Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver would become members of the Avengers at the start of the season, which would led to emotional conflicts where they're forced to choose between their father Magneto and their adopted family the Avengers.
• Captain America would've died and paid his debt with Hela.
• Thor and Balder the Brave would have an arc about their attempts to destroy the Twilight Sword (a key item for Surtur's power) on Musphelheim. Thor would've also been transforme into a frog during a battle with Loki, and later fail to stop Surtur from destroying the World Tree and Odin's source of power, thus leading into the midseason finale.
• Minor plots during this half-season would include an attack by Nightmare in the dream plane as he tries to put the Avengers in a eternal sleep, a time-travel episode in medieval times starring Iron Man and Wasp in which Modred the Mystic would be the main villain (and Enchantress behind it), an attempt by Kulan Gath to distort reality and conquer the world by transforming New York and its population into medieval versions of themselves (which would've been related to a Chthon/Wundagore story arc), the resurgence of Hydra and their attempt to find the Serpent Crown, the foundation of the West Coast Avengers, the return of Graviton, the High Evolutionary taking interest in the true parentage of the Maximoff siblings, Scarlet Witch searching for the inner source of her powers and the Darkhold, the Serpent of Midgard attacking Earth, and the social impact of the establishment of "New Asgard" in USA territory after Ragnarök.
• The second half of Season 3 would've involved the many human subspecies of the Marvel Universe as its thematic, along with the threat of cosmic entities towards Earthlings' genetic potential (being a preamble to the stories of season 4). This would make the X-Men recurring guest stars, developing an friendly but vitriolic relationship with the Avengers concerning the addition of the Maximoff siblings to the team and the arrival of the Phoenix Force to Earth, which would led to a fused adaptation of Avengers vs. X-MenHouse of M and Heroes Reborn as the season finale.
• Along the way, the High Evolutionary would try to save humanity from the menace of the Elder Gods by creating a Gene Bomb to extinguish metahuman life on Earth, while Ultron would try to take advantage of the racial conflicts and steal the Gene Bomb to destroy all organic life.
• The High Evolutionary storyline would be an adaptation of "Evolutionary War", featuring an alliance between the Avengers, mutants, Atlanteans, Inhumans, Eternals and Deviants against the High Evolutionary and his New-Men in a global conflict for the survival of life on Earth. At the same time, Ultron would improve his robotic imitators from season 2 to take advantage of the extinction-level situation.
• In the third season finale, Jean Grey would try to control the Phoenix Force and resist losing her mind, while the Avengers and the X-Men would be divided on how to deal with the Phoenix. After an alliance is formed between the Avengers, the X-Men, and Fantastic Four to stop the Phoenix Force, Wanda and Jean would work together to trap it in a pocket dimension like in Heroes Reborn, with the X-Men sacrificing themselves to keep it there. It would've then been implied that this pocket dimension is where the events of Wolverine and the X-Men take place.
• Minor plots during this half-season would be the return of Baron Zemo as he reunites the the Masters of Evil to fulfill his revenge against Captain America, the Nova Corps stopping an alien invasion of Earth by the Brood, Carol Danvers adopting the Captain Marvel identity, an invasion of Wakanda by the Eternals to prepare the arrival of the Celestials, the Avengers and X-Men fighting Juggernaut in Canada, the return of Kang the Conqueror as he now becomes Rama-Tut, Captain America being lost in the timestream, flashbacks of Namor and the Invaders during WWII and their friendship with Steve Rogers, the foundation of The Defenders (consisting of Hulk, Dr Strange, Namor, Captain Marvel and Valkyrie) to confront the Elders of the Universe's attempt to destroy the Earth, and Magneto leading the mutants in possession of the shattered Phoenix Force to establish a new world order.
• If there was a season 4, (although lesser details had been showed), it was revealed that it would involve two main sagas: The first half would be called "Under Siege" and the second half as "Infinity Quest".
• "Under Siege" plot would've been an original adaptation of Acts of Vengeance (1989) with Doctor Doom as the main villain instead of Loki. This first-half season would be the "Political Season" in a story arc which consists in Doctor Doom's definitive attempt to conquer the world by taking advantage of the current status of Earth after the events of the "Ragnarök", "Evolutionary War" and "House of M" story arcs of season 3, so Doom would start making alliances with villains like Red Skull, Norman Osborn, the Ten Rings, Loki, Kingpin, and Magneto, etc, to force the Avengers out of the country and go on the run, which would lead to appearances by superheroes from Europe, Asia, Africa, Latin America, Oceania and other countries. At the same time Maria Hill will start campaigning for the approval of a Superhuman Registration Act, starting a Civil War within the superhero community between those in favor of the act and those against it. Hill, SHIELD and the governments of the world would've also made their own shady alliances with supervillains to fulfill this. ^(note)
• Alongside this arc will be a Siege against New Asgard by an alliance between Doom, Hydra, and Oscorp led by Red Skull, unlike the comics. However, Norman Osborn would still be a major villain, having too much work to introduce and set up. He would've probably appeared as a corrupt politician who would be in favor of the Registration Act, which would make Spider-Man the main protagonist while the other heroes are outside and/or divided throughout this arc.
• The Infinity Quest plot would have been about the Elders of the Universe searching for the Infinity Stones to destroy the universe, and ascend to godhood in a new universe they would create, forcing the Avengers to journey across the cosmic side of the Marvel Universe to stop them. Galactus would've returned, and the Beyonder and Molecule Man were planned to be introduced.
• The fifth season would have been taken up by an arc adapting Secret Wars.
• There were no plans for Thanos in the short-term.

Venomized Gambit skin idea

Edited over a still from X-Men '97. I thought it'd be cool if Venomized Gambit became a thing. It'd be cool. Imagine the VFX.

MCU Ghost Rider Show Idea >> Midnight Sons

Ghost Rider could be a show or even a movie set during the Blip. During the Blip, things were different, lawlessness was easier to get away with.

Enter Johnny Blaze, a man who lost a lot growing up, and it's during the Blip that Mephisto decides to cash in. With half the population of the world gone, and with sinners at an all time high, Mephisto bonds Johnny's soul to Zarathos, commanding him to carry out his will as the Ghost Rider - punishing evil souls and sending them to Hell.

Johnny's only problem is his predecessor, Michael Badilino, AKA Vengeance.

(Either he betrayed Mephisto, or is Mephisto's other-hand man, or made a deal with another devil or Blackheart)

Vengeance's brand of, well, vengeance, is more extreme and borderline sadistic. Vengeance takes joy in punishing souls, and has found loopholes to hurt even innocents, due to loose tonguedness with the contract. Once Vengeance realizes he has a rival in Ghost Rider, he veers off his own corpse-paved path to make life Hell (pun unintended) for Johnny Blaze, whose final hunt of the show is to find a man smuggling people and enslaving vulnerable groups.

The end of the show/movie would see Johnny Blaze turn on Mephisto after Vengeance tells him all about Mephisto's plans for the world of the living. Mephisto detains Johnny in a cage in his Hell Tower, which would lead into the Midnight Sons movie set long after Avengers Endgame (or at this rate Avengers Secret Wars) when it rises from Hell into Las Vegas. In the second act of the movie, the Midnight Sons would face a defeat, but not after rescuing Ghost Rider from his cell. Regrouping, Johnny Blaze would share his intel with Elsa Bloodstone, Blade, Moon/Mister Knight, Man Thing and Wong, and the team comes up with a plan to put a stop to Mephisto's plan.

Agony appreciation - cannot forgive Marvel for this fumble

Agony had some amazing character development with Gemma Shin, and it was looking great, but now we've gone to some randoms wearing symbiotes, and since then nothing's happened.

THESE TWO WERE AS ADORABLE AS Earth-688B Eddie and Venom.
