Book recommendations

I'm getting back into reading and need some new book suggestions. I'm looking for anything, preferably something spicy. Here are some things I'm particularly into:

Vampires
Dark romance
Assassins
Dragons
Demons

I (21F) was offered a delivery driver position at a Domino's near me. I only told my parents that I was offered the job and nothing else. They IMMEDIATELY said it was a step down from the daycare where I used to work. Though I haven't told them, I quit a couple of weeks ago due to issues with management. It's like they want me to stay at a crappy job I hate. I'm also still waiting on an answer to my Costco application. I'm worried that if I take the job, I'll get a better offer later on. Or I turn it down, and I don't get anything else for months. What should I do?

▲ 31 r/jobs

I've lost count of how many jobs I've applied for, but I rarely ever get selected for an interview. And even if I get an interview, I don't get hired. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, to be honest. However, one thing I do know is that for a lot of jobs I've applied to, I don't know how to do some of the things they need me to do, like working certain computer systems, for example. I have stated multiple times that I'm willing to learn if hired. Still, I don't get hired.

Companies nowadays want someone with experience in whatever they need, so they don't have to train people. But there are people who really want/need a job who are willing to learn. Why is that, and is there a way to get hired even with no experience?
