Very cute. But i dont know who the character on the trunk is

We are sooo blessed as Uber Drivers

This morning I decided to work for an hourly pay rate. I set out for $30/hr. End up $38/hr. As an Uber, I earn between $20-45/hr. Just to amuse hourly uber drivers, I did $38/hr, $21/trip average, 100 miles or $1.73/mile. Per Trip and Per Mile result crushes the minimum acceptable $15/trip average and $1/mile

Another shooting at Onyx last night

I'm curious, why do people still go there? Obviously its a sketchy place and not really safe with their customer base. We dont hear about these at other Charlotte "dance" clubs

I admit I looked at possibly checking it out one time, and $30 admission fee, no way not me not today not tomorrow...

Happened in December...

Happened now last night...

Onyx also has history of alcohol violations...

How does this biz still stay in business? Armed guards outside and inside and still not a deterrent. Maybe time to get rid of them and hire police officers like Coyote Joes now has

What changed?

Doing 50-60/trips week in 2026 vs 80-95 trips/week in 2025.

Multiapping Lyft more in 2026.

Focused on per trip average $15-20/trip.

Still focused on $1-5/mile from spot I accept to pick up location to drop off location.

Not baited by lower Quests, I gain that Quest money by focusing on profitable trips and Surges

Back to work at a full time job so less availability 1/2 of the week.

Car is paid off Christmas 2025, so I am lazier than ever. 2025 was working my tail off to finish off the loan in 36 months on the nose.

I arrived 10mins early.

Wth could he be doing?

Uber needs to change the policy back to 5min grace period. Give these customers even more time, they will use it and abuse it. He knew what he was doing, except i floored it as he was coming out as time expired

I flooded uber feedback with this, 25 times:

Uber needs to get rid of 10min wait time policy to cancel Reserve trips on location. It used to be a 5 minute rule. Now customers are abusing driver time taking the whole 9 to 10mins grace period before getting in car. This is BULLSH**. We drivers already arrive early to Reserve trips. Change it back to 5 minute grace period after pick up time! There is 0 reason to offer customers 10 minutes

I havent seen any posts from him on his social media driving. When he took over the company, he was out driving people and seeing first hand what we see. Was interesting to see his gloating how great it is out there on the streets

Do you customers take notice when we send Thank You for tips? As in, smile and tell yourself, appreciate the driver's gratitude? Or just swipe away the notification on your phone without a thought about it?

Tried a barber in Gastonia on a whim, super dirt cheap, but with that came his shaver missing a couple strands of hair. Never experienced that before in life.

Any good barbers in Gastonia who have good equipment, are skilled, and reasonable in cost?

When using Uber for a large show to sold out show

Dont request after the show at the gates, in the parking lot, etc. Uber Lyft tell you the pick up is in a designated spot, who cares, ignore it.

Walk up to Walmart /CVS and look for a ride there. Make sure you type in the address so it is correct.

The walk is 6 to 7mins straight up road from the PNC.

You wont be waiting 30 40 60 mins for an Uber this way.

Smaller shows, you can probably request and wait at the venue.

Hope this helps. There is no need to wait an hour for a driver 😄

On south tryon by sandy porter rd and QT.

Tried 2 others, one outside of charlotte and 1 in west charlotte when I first move here years ago. I grew up with BK and its been good all my life. After those 2, I lost faith in BK.

5 years later, on recommendation, tried South Tryon BK and it is great, in 3 visits so far. They have a 100% score too. Changed my mind that there is a good BK around in Charlotte
