Seriously whenever I read up the historical evens of black people, I am left mortified by the amount things that have been thrown at us and don’t any race has had it worse than we have. Like ever since the Europeans started making their moves in Africa, it all went downhill for us as they started kidnapping black people, taking them to places such as the Caribbean, South America or America where they were to be enslaved. This slavery would last for centuries in America, until the civil war where Slavery was later abolished. It didn’t end there for black Americans, they had to deal with Jim Crow, segregation and were under attack by the Klu Klux Klan. In wasn’t until civil rights where things lessened but that doesn’t mean the situation got better after that, there was still plenty of issues.

Focusing back on the issues with European involvement in Africa, the Europeans each take their part in claiming territories throughout the continent and in the Berlin conference they carved up Africa in their colonies and oppressed the native Africans. In addition to this they outright stole the natural resources we had, plundering them, send it back to coloniser nations to enrich themselves. Even after when the African nations got their freedom from and leaders tried to build up the nations, they would assassinated by western powers.

It’s all just crazy that we have faced this much of strife throughout history, but nevertheless despite all we continue to prosper.
