Hxstomp for only effects?

Hey all! Quick question to all Hxstomp owners. I have a mini rig setup for ease of transportation that consists of a Laney Supergrace for my amp and a 1x12 speaker. Im trying to keep this as small as possible, so instead of getting like a tremelo, delay, and some sort of modulation effects to round everything out, im looking at an Hxstomp to cover the rest. Wondering what the thoughts are on it. Ive heard nothing but good things about them. Could I bypass amp and cab Sims to just run effects to my amp? Is there a better option for my needs? What are y'alls experience pros and cons? Thanks!

Best Sound I Have Ever Had

So, I recently got a BK Butler Tube Driver and have been floored with it! I decided to add in the Greer Lightspeed to give it just a touch of umph, and OMG it's perfect! I have never had such dynamic control and organic, warm, ultra sustaining guitar tone. Im playing with a stock Ultra 2 strat and my Mesa Cali Tweed... and it's everything i want. I tried the Crazy Tube Circuits Venus and I do really like it, but it kinda lacks the warmth that the BK Butler has and I dont feel like I connect with the Venus as much. So, if anyone has ever wondered what the best overdrive is... I will always say the Tube Driver.
