Exchange Rate - Getting Baht After Thailand Arrival
Hey Folks,
So heard some say you need to have 20k baht physically on your person when arriving by air, has anyone actually been asked to show / produce this?
I wasn't asked the last time two times I landed in 2024/2025 but believe things are tightening up this year?
I ask because the EUR > BAHT exchange rates in my country are abysmal anywhere I look, It's so much cheaper to to it over there. Would it suffice to show the Thai Baht amount in my Revolut on arrival if questioned?
I'm entering on a tourist Visa and and all within alowwed limits so shouldn't be any questions
