Would you ever let your side repeal the 19th Amendment?

I ask because it keeps showing up in my newsfeeds and social media. There are people in government right now who are ministered to and mentored by people who believe there needs to be one vote per household by the male.

When we let people acquire outsized wealth, we damage our own economy.

The problem is the current tax code and specific regulations or lack there of.

Write new tax codes or financial regulations that will

—Require transparency of ownership. No shell companies. No people or company’s hiding motivations.

—Tax all forms of payment, not just employees who receive a normal income.

—No more welfare for corporations. No more stock buybacks. No more tax breaks for employing people who utilize the social safety net, like SNAP users, when the only reason they’re on SNAP is because you won’t pay them high enough wages. AND on top of THAT THE SNAP MONEY IS USUALLY SPENT THERE TOO.

—Overturn Citizens United.

—Ban Gerrymandering.

—No more holding shareholder profits above all other things. Our air is more important than them our food is more important than them. Our children are more important than them. Our communities and their small businesses are more important!!!! Shareholder profits can still matter to a logical and common sense degree.

In the US we hear over and over that we have a terrible literacy crisis and tons of adults and school-age children are functionally illiterate.

But when you actually look at the sources all this data comes from, you see the media and content creators are making a claim the research was not testing, and we are on par with nations like Germany, Austria, barely behind the UK.

Why hasn’t California tried Ranked Choice Voting?

If we had Ranked Choice Voting (RCV), we would not have to worry about splitting the vote in the gubernatorial primary. I hope we implement it before the next time we have to do this stuff.

Each of us is more purple than the enemies of our country want us to be able to believe.

We can’t see the common ground, hear the truth, learn from each other, or hold our government and ourselves accountable if we can’t talk to each other and stay stuck in echo chambers.

Dividing us is the only way to weaken us. Make us fight each other instead of uniting and fighting together against things we all know are awful for our country and the world.

(I’m American, but this can definitely be applied around the world. Never trust the people who try to divide you.)
