After some very kind comments on my photos of Christchurch in Autumn, I thought I'd share some of my favourite photos of the 03 in the other three seasons.

Autumn has been the winner this year, but there's some beauty to be found all year round.

For anyone wondering, the 'wolves' were a hilariously quaint initiative to dissuade Canadian Geese from being a nuisance in the Botanical Gardens.

Christchurch has been having an absolutely fantastic Autumn, after a fairly crappy Summer.
Lots of warm days, crisp evenings, and misty mornings

Between the lovely warm days and the mystical misty mornings, Autumn is almost making up for the crappy Summer we had

I grew up in the 80's watching every Sir David Attenborough series that came along, but haven't caught up with a lot of his later works.

These days I find I have trouble watching episodes that follow particular animals through their life, and then watch them succumb to old age, and sometimes violent death.
Even CGI series like the 'Walking with Dinosaurs' episode featuring the Pterosaur I found somewhat distressing.
Also those that show how badly we have screwed over particular species to the verge of extinction

I really just want to marvel in the glory of the natural world

Any advice on which 2000's onwards series I should maybe skip (or which ones you would heartily recommend) would be much appreciated
