Sharpie Build

Tried my skills at shading and blending with a black sharpie, some alcohol, and an old sock to get the effect I wanted to make this computer look drawn up sitting there and I think it turned out great…

astral 5080 Sharpie build

There’s this guy on Facebook and Instagram called Carsplashart who does incredible art on everything with a black sharpie marker making everything he touches look like it’s drawn on a piece of paper and that’s the effect I was going with here for this ROG RTX build. All I needed was a black sharpie marker, alcohol, and an old sock with some patience on technique and I got it down.

Let me know what you think of it.

ROG Strix 5070

The ASUS ROG Strix 5070 is by far one of the coolest looking graphics cards in this series.

Looks absolutely stunning in this custom case and I love the performance of it in gaming.

ROG X870E-E Gaming WiFi 7 NEO x AMD 9850 X3D

Just finished my ROG 20th anniversary build with the ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming WiFi 7 NEO motherboard and a AMD Ryzen 7 9850X3D processor. - this combo is just solid. Highly suggest the combo!

What stood out to me after about a week of gaming with it.

Setup was easy and so beautiful this board is.

BIOS was straightforward, memory trained without any drama, and it posted first try. Didn’t have to fight it. Just love the 3 USB headers on the board along with how easy it is to install the PCIe and easy Q release.

Performance is stupid smooth and just clean frames through and through day after day.

The 9850X3D does what you’d expect—high FPS is one thing, but the frame consistency is what you notice. No weird dips, no stuttery moments.

Board stayed nice and cool, 30 degrees idle.

VRMs stay cool, layout makes sense, and there’s enough headers without it feeling cluttered. ASUS didn’t overcomplicate it.

ROG x Jonsbo x walnut

I collaborated with ROG and Jonsbo.tw on this build and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.

Starting with the chassis, entirely made out of black walnut and walnut panels cut on the XTool P2S CO2 laser machine which I love btw.

ROG components mixed together with jonsbo’s ZA360 fans are a perfect combination in my book. No other fans have so stunning RGB look to them.

Let me know what you guys think of this machine and would you rock it in your gaming room?

Thanks for viewing and sharing my project with me.
