MICHAEL JACKSON - Thriller [2026 Full Album Remix & Remaster]

My stem remix of Michael Jackson's 1982 monster of an album "Thriller", made for my own enjoyment, but sharing in case someone else might enjoy it.

This is a fan-made stereo remix using stem separation. It is not a dance remix or re-arrangement, but an attempt to present the original mix in a slightly different form.

I left this album for last because it's obviously the most intimidating one to tackle with, being the best selling album of all time and all, and also an example of pretty much perfect production. But I wanted to try my hand at it just for the sake of completeness (I've already worked on "Off the Wall" and "Bad", which are the other 2 MJ albums I was obsessed with as a kid).

This is only for fun and intends to be a very subtle and respectful remix, not straying far away from the original version, which is a milestone in pop music production by the late great Quincy Jones.

Obviously, I don't own the music featured here. If you like the music, support the artists. Buy their records!

My fan remix & remaster of Motörhead's 1979 classic album "Overkill", made for my own enjoyment, but sharing in case someone else might enjoy it.

This is only for fun and intends to be a very respectful remix, not straying too far away from the original version, only aiming for somewhat better clarity, instrument separation (especially between Lemmy's bass and Eddie's guitar tracks) and punch. All of which is, of course, subjective.

Slightly revised version of my fan remix & remaster of Queen's iconic 1979 live album "Live Killers", made for my personal enjoyment, but sharing here in case someone else likes it.

This is a classic live album that, despite its undeniable greatness in all other aspects, always sounded muddy to me, and I am aware that the band themselves were not very fond of the final mix either.

As usual, I tried to improve on clarity, instrument separation and punch, without straying too far away and staying respectful to the original version. For better results, a full remix from the original multi-track tapes would be needed.

Fan remix & remaster of Metallica's 1986 magnum opus "Master of Puppets", made for my personal enjoyment, but sharing here in case someone else likes it.

This is a pretty conservative and respectful remix, aiming only at better instrument separation, punch and overall clarity.

This is all for fun, and only intends to be an alternative listen to what already is a metal masterpiece.
