I‘ve been taking good care of my laptop for 7 months

until

Something strange happened yesterday
I noticed when i plug the charging cable in
My mouse pad or the cursor on my screen starts glitching and moving in different directions
And when i click it moves randomly
This happened at my friend‘s house
Could this be grounding issues ?
Hardware ? Software ?
However when i unplug and restart the pc on battery it works fine both on 60hz and 144hz
