Can I do long jump and run distance?

I'm a sophomore just finishing off my first year of track.

next year I want to try long jumping, as my brother went to state in long jump.

my main events are 1600 and 800, and I do taekwondo run and lift. and I've got a skinnier but not lean and athletic build, at 5'7 120lb

you guys think I can long jump next season, is there any plyometrics I should be doing? I run XC in the fall.

ideally I'd wanna prioritize my runs but see how I do with jumping.

I’m a green belt rn and I started running distance in track 2 months ago.

and ik that the running is probably messing with my explosiveness. but I do genuinely love running so far, and I have natural talent at it. as I’ve never been good at strength or anaerobic sports.

so my question is if there is any benefit for running specifically 800m and 1600m training.

also to the mods this question hasn’t been answered yet as it’s specifically for middle distance not running in general.

so I just recently turned 16 last month and get my restricted permit in June.

I want my own truck to drive to the gym work (I work at a pizza place 3 miles from my house) and to school.

I don’t need anything too crazy cuz my mom still won’t let me drive on the interstate until in her words “I am an experienced driver” or whatever.

but my budget is about 3500 bucks. and I live in the Midwest so I’d prefer something with 4 or all wheel drive.

thanks in advance guys.

I'm 16 and want a truck, my budget is tight but this seems decent,

we know the ppl selling it as they are friends of my parents and the lady's wife is a mechanic.

milage is pretty high but I've read they can go up to 300000 miles when well maintained like I assume this one is.

there's a little rust over the rear wheel wells but other than that seems solid.
