mormons used to have large pictures of their prophet in their entrance or center of living room. children were named after their prophet. children were told to stop playing and listen to GC the prophet is speaking. sang songs about their prophet raise their little arms to sustain the leaders. the church says they don’t worship the prophet but every one is expected to stand when he appear. seems even ex Lds have a hard time accepting the prophet of their generation wasn’t all that special.
