Hi there. I have a handful of cities in mind to try moving to and Richmond (or close to it) is on my list. What can $1400-1500 do for me as far as looking for something safe and quality-rich? Thanks in advanced and I am open to move into a smaller town outside of it.
I've got three cities in my mind for moving to, Altanta being one of them. I am doing some searching and seeing what $1400/month can get me as far as safety and quality. It seems even expensive apartments here still have security issues with car break-ins. Obviously, like anything someone pays money for, you typically get quality the more you pay. From anyone's personal experience, what do you all recommend for a good place to live? I can probably push 1500, even.

Coming from St. Louis' scene, how does Austin or neighboring scenes compare?
I used to perform in St. Louis a lot, which had a great scene for anything rock/punk/metal. However, after checking back in I have been told that it has been dying. What are some great cities to be in for being apart of the metal scene in the states?
